Set Up Your Toast POS with Craver

There are a few steps you need to make to have your Toast POS ready for Craver integration. These steps will guide you through these steps. 

We need to connect your Craver dining options to your Toast dining options. This can be done by connecting your current Toast dining options to your Craver app, or alternatively you can create new dining options specifically for your Craver app. 

To set up your Dining Options in Toast you can find “Dining Options” under “Kitchen/Dining Room” in your Toast Admin panel.

When sending orders from your Craver app to your Toast POS, we will need to associate them with a Revenue Center in Toast. This helps you with tracking different sources of revenue for your business. You can use an existing Revenue Center or you can create a new Revenue Center specifically for your Craver app. 

To set up your Revenue Centers in Toast you can find a link to “Revenue Centers” under “Other Setup” in your Toast Admin panel.

If you have the Delivery enabled in your Craver app, we would need to be able to send those fees to your Toast POS. This is done via Service Charges in Toast POS.

For this purpose, you need to create a new Service Charge in your Toast POS, with a name like “Delivery Fee (Craver)”. In the type section, you should choose Open Amount and select “Delivery?” to Yes. 

To set up your Service Charges in Toast you can find the link to “Service Charges” under “Payments” in your Toast Admin panel.

Coupons and Discounts on your Craver app are sent to Toast POS as Discount. To be able to pass the discounts and rewards correctly to Toast, we need 2 separate discounts to be created on Toast POS. 1- Check Discounts, 2- Item Discounts. Both of them have to be of type Open $ Off.

Here you can see how to create a Check discount. This will be applied on all items in a check.
